Stilt

Silt is a project that has always been close to my heart, from my younger days of surfing and piers with ladders, to my later explorations into far flung communities. The idea of living over water has always intrigued me, combined with my love of building tree houses.

Stilt was created using an array of recycled materials combined with my imagination of the use of space. Ladders reach up giving the illusion of freedom, many routes can be taken to achieve the effect. Although it is how we see the land that makes these achievable.

As a climber, you first need to observe the rock face and plan your route to the top and then print this on your mind, when you climb you need as little distraction as possible.
